Information you send us
When you submit a form on Ask A Pool Tech, we collect the details you enter — such as your name, email address, phone number, location and message — so we can respond to your question or business inquiry.
How we use it
- To answer your pool question or follow up on your inquiry.
- For container pool business inquiries, to have ArmorThane, which supports this site, contact you about equipment, training and pricing.
- To improve the site, for example by turning common questions into new guides.
We do not sell your personal information.
How it is delivered and stored
Form submissions are stored in this website’s database and delivered to our team by email, which may pass through an email relay service (FormSubmit) used to deliver messages. Basic technical details, such as the page you sent the form from and how you found the site, are included to help us respond.
Spam protection
To keep forms free of spam, we use techniques such as hidden fields, timing checks, a small calculation performed by your browser and rate limits. We store a one-way hashed version of your IP address temporarily for rate limiting.
Cookies and storage
The site may store small preferences in your browser — for example, which checklist items you have ticked — on your own device. We do not use advertising cookies on this site.
Your choices
To ask us to update or delete information you have sent, use the contact form and tell us what you would like changed.
